            Without charge we’ve told arthritics how to get well since 1982! Although our recommendations are straight-forward and generally easy to follow, we’ve found very few health centers equipped to provide all the healing practices that might be necessary to achieve wellness. Even so, some of our recommended health professionals have achieved a consistent 80% cure rate using only part of our recommendations.

            Think what it can mean to you and your loved ones to have a center where all of our recommendations are available!

            Long we’ve wished for such a center!

            Thanks to Pennsylvanian Robert J. Coughlin, we’re fulfilling our goals for a growing, effective arthritis medical center — a place where the majority of arthritics can become well — or at least vastly improved — because we’ve collected together under one roof many of the necessary treatments.

            No longer would an arthritis victim need to travel from doctor to doctor to find the combination of treatments s/he needs to achieve wellness!

            Our medical center will be used to teach other health professionals how to get their patients well.

            And —

            We’ll be able to bring in knowledgeable health professionals who can teach us further, creating an even more effective clinic !

            But —

We need your help!

            Robert J. Coughlin willed us sufficient funds to purchase two tracts of land (3.75 acres; $400,000) directly in front of City of Fairview’s (TN) new city hall!

            Although Fairview is small, we who’ve lived here for many years know that currently planned housing and a nearby beltline highway is triggering off a growth unprecedented in this part of Williamson County which is located immediately below metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County in Tennessee.

            We’ll build the medical clinic with surrounding, supporting businesses. The first section — medical and supporting shops — will be about 15,000 square feet.

            Each of several sections to be built afterwards will be about the same size — overall to be called The Arthritis Trust Medical Center! -- Shoppes at City Center!

            Profits from this combined medical center will go directly to us in continuing support of known curative arthritis treatments and further research.

How You Can Help?

            Guesstimating that 15,000 square feet will cost $100 per square foot, the first section, including the medical clinic, will cost $1,500,000. When we have enough contracts signed (pre-leasing), many lending insitutions will provide construction funding through a commercial loan.

            While we applaud and are grateful for all small donations — $10, $15, $20, $100 — it takes a lot of them to make up $1,500,000. So, naturally, as much as we appreciate and need every donation, we also need and pray for large grants or bequests so that we’ll be able to build the center more rapidly with less overhanging debt.

            Less debt means faster returns to this foundation, and that means more money to engage and disarm the centuries old affliction known as arthritis!

            Each section of 2,400 square feet, will cost about $240,000.

            For a grant of $240,000, or larger, we’d be pleased to erect a bronze plaque, an image of quality, distinction and stability, commemorating whatever or whomever you designate!

            The building would not only become an active financial support for eradicating rheumatoid disease, but would acknowledge, honor, and demonstrate your respect for many years, as long as the building stands!

Our Promise to You

            As a generous donor to many worthy causes, you’ve probably also been hit with the claim that your donation should only go to those charities that have a low benefit -to-cost ratio. In other words, you should want your charity dollar to go chiefly for its intended purpose.

            Aside from the fact that this benefit-to-cost ratio is extremely deceptive, and its literal dependence benefits only the large charities who annually beg for money “to find a cure,” it serves to suppress the good benefits provided by small charities who must rely on costly programs like direct mail solicitation or telemarketing.

            Statistical benefit-to-cost ratios are not results oriented!

            We’re the only tax-exempt, non-profit charity in the world who does not ask for money to “find a cure.”

            We believe that we can already help folks get well from so-called “incurable” Rheumatoid Disease in 80% of the patients, and perhaps an even higher percentage of relief if each arthritis victim will trouble themselves to the extent we advise!!

            We also provide information on how to achieve wellness to patients and health professionals free of charge!

            So, if true, how could anyone determine our value by measuring our past benefit-to-cost ratios?

            Surely not by a single, arbitrary cost accounting ratio . . . . ?

            So, here’s our promise to you: whether you send us $10 or $1,000,000, and mark it for the purpose of this medical center — 100% of your donation will be placed in a fund dedicated solely for that purpose!

            Not one cent will be used for salaries, mailings, office expenses, or any other of our many administrative or fundraising expenses.

            One hundred percent of your donation will be placed in a dedicated account, to support the construction and operation of The Arthritis Trust of America Medical Center to be established by Robert J. Coughlin, Inc. — wholly owned and operated by the non-profit, IRS tax exempt 501(c)(3) The Arthritis Trust of America.

            We’re truly dedicated to wiping from the earth’s face the affliction called arthritis!
